Study highlights structural variations in canine genes that could play crucial role in determining the sociability of domestic dogs.

Scientists believe they may have found a genetic link that makes some dogs more friendly and affable than others.

In an article published in Science Advances, the authors said, although decades of research have focused on the unique relationship between humans and domestic dogs, the role of genetics in shaping canine behavioural evolution remains poorly understood.
